Congratulations to Emily and Sam who were awarded certificates for responsibility.  Emily regularly buddy reads with Community 7 during her reading time and Sam is our Tekki who makes sure that the computers are on the blog for literacy and maths activities.

Henry was also awarded a top prize in assembly this week for sitting quietly on the mat and listening carefully! He won Annaridgenal lunch vouchers to the value of $3.50!  Well done Henry!

Congratulations to Matilda and JJ for being awarded Stars of the Week!
Tilly was given her certificate for editing her writing to improve it.  I could see the neat crossing out where she had changed her writing.  JJ reads with such eagerness and understanding that he can share his ideas with the rest of the group.  Tino Pai!

On Wednesday there was rugby and the winners were Australia and Scotland.  I  played England but I  had a  good  time.

ICT Expo

News:

Hi everyone. Tonight is the ICT expo. This is an opportunity for parents and children to come to school together. The children are showing their wonderful ICT learning to their parents. Please make sure that all children come! The times are as below:

5:30pm - 6:15pm Junior children are sharing their learning with their parents in communties 4-7.
6:15pm - 6:30pm Supper will be served in the hall for parents and children.
6:30pm - 7:15pm Senior children are sharing their learning with their parents in communities 1-3.

We expect all children to be here. Junior children should arrive from 5:20pm to get themselves set up. Please ring school and ask to speak to Denise or Wendy if you have any questions.
